Web development for small businesses in Perth and WA

When your website needs to do more, we make it work. From online shops and event ticketing to wine clubs, memberships and custom integrations, we build the features that run your business online. We've been developing websites from Bickley in the Perth Hills since 2007, and we look after everything we build.

What we build

  • Online shops. WooCommerce and Shopify stores with product variations, mixed boxes and bundles, calculated postage, discount codes and automatic tax invoices.
  • Bookings, events and tickets. Sell event tickets with limited numbers, take bookings and send tickets by email.
  • Memberships and subscriptions. Wine clubs, recurring orders and member accounts where customers manage their own details and choices.
  • Integrations. Connect your website to the tools you already use, such as payment gateways, email marketing, booking systems and student or client portals.
  • Custom features. Plugin customisation and custom theme development when an off-the-shelf solution doesn't quite fit.
  • Fast static websites. For sites that don't need a database, we build lightweight static sites hosted on Cloudflare Pages. They load quickly, cost little to run and have very little that can break or be hacked.
  • Website rescue and redevelopment. We take over and rebuild older sites that have become slow, insecure or hard to update.

Choosing the right platform

We don't push one platform for every job. We recommend whatever suits your business, your budget and how you want to manage the site.

Frequently asked questions

  • What's the difference between web design and web development? Web design is how your site looks and how easy it is to use. Web development is how it works behind the scenes: online shops, bookings, memberships and connections to other systems. Most of our projects include both. See our web design services.
  • Can you take over a website someone else built? Yes. We regularly take over existing WordPress sites. We'll review the site first, tell you honestly what condition it's in, and recommend whether to fix it or rebuild it.
  • Should I use WooCommerce or Shopify? It depends on what you sell and how. WooCommerce is more flexible for things like wine clubs, event tickets and mixed boxes. Shopify is simpler for straightforward product stores. We'll recommend the one that suits you.
  • What is a static website? A static website is made of ready-built pages, without a database or plugins running in the background. That makes it very fast and secure, and cheap to host. It suits sites that don't need an online shop or member logins.
  • Can you connect my website to other software? Often, yes. We've connected websites to payment gateways, email marketing tools, booking systems and student portals. Tell us what you use and we'll check what's possible.
  • Do you look after the website after it's built? Yes. Our care plans cover hosting, updates, backups, security monitoring and small changes, so your site stays safe and up to date.
