An honest answer: fix, refresh or rebuild?
Not every website needs to be rebuilt. We'll look at yours and tell you straight which of these you actually need, even if it's the smallest job.
- Fix. The foundations are sound, but a few things are holding it back, such as slow pages, missing search basics, broken forms or out-of-date plugins. We fix them and you keep the site you have.
- Refresh. The site works, but it looks dated or doesn't explain what you do clearly. We update the design and content on your existing platform.
- Rebuild. When the problems are in the foundations (an ageing theme, a site no one can safely update, or a platform that no longer suits you), starting again is often the better value. We'll show you why before you decide.

The biggest worry with changing websites is losing your place on Google. We take care to protect it.
- Every old page address is redirected to its new home, so links, bookmarks and Google listings keep working.
- Your content comes with you. We carry across the pages, posts, images and details that are working for you, and improve them along the way.
- Search settings are kept or improved, including page titles, descriptions and the behind-the-scenes code that tells Google about your business.
- We test before we switch over, and check Google Search Console after launch to catch anything that needs attention.
- We happily take over sites built by others. If you don't have your logins, we'll help you get back control of your domain and hosting.

Frequently asked questions
- Will I lose my Google rankings if I change websites? Not if it's done carefully. We redirect every old page address, carry across your content and search settings, and check Google Search Console after launch. Rankings can move a little for a week or two while Google catches up, then settle.
- Can you take over a website someone else built? Yes, we do this often. We'll review the site first and tell you honestly what condition it's in.
- Do I really need a new website? Often not. Many sites just need a handful of fixes. We'll tell you if that's the case.
- I don't have the logins for my website or domain. Can you help? Usually, yes. We'll help you track down who holds them and get control back in your name.
- How much will it cost? It depends on whether you need a fix, a refresh or a rebuild. We'll give you a clear, fixed quote before we start.
