The Project
Rising Sound WA is a newly formed not-for-profit run by local musicians, creating live original music experiences across Western Australia. They needed their first website to build an audience, promote upcoming shows and grow their membership. The site had to feel like the gigs themselves, raw, energetic and community-driven, while being easy for volunteers to keep up to date.
The Solution
We designed a bold, stage-inspired site using a black and amber palette and imagery from their own sessions. A scrolling ticker highlights what’s happening, from free Saturday sessions at Midland Records to regional events and filmed sessions. The site features a clear “What’s On” events listing, a sessions page, and simple “Get Involved” pathways for musicians, members and supporters.
The site is built on a headless cms and takes payments for memberships via stripe.
